Company Description
Description Given Full Spectrum Operations, Army leaders are realizing the criticality of human dimension requirements. Army leaders need to influence adversaries, local populace, multinational partners, civil authorities, business leaders, and other civilian agencies at the local and strategic levels. An expert understanding and adaptive use of influence strategies is a part of the human dimension capability that the Army needs to develop.
The Army Influence Trainer provides a broad overview of influence techniques documented in Army leadership doctrine FM 6-22. The training allows leaders to learn how different techniques "look and feel" through virtual role play with avatars. The experiential training uses a proven and engaging method that advances learning beyond mere cognition.
The training engages the learner through virtual interactions. These interactions promote an understanding of the differences between compliance and commitment, an understanding of what resistance looks like, and even an interaction that provides the feel of being a recipient of influence.
